Public Safety
West Chester Township offers a full-service professional police department and fire & EMS department to ensure our communities are protected. Each service is funded by designated voter-approved levies.
UPDATE 11/2021: Due to a Township upgrade of public safety software, the platform for tracking police and fire/EMS calls is currently not working. Reports are available on the platform through Nov. 2021. The Township is working to address the issue so that residents can view the most currently available data. Your patience is appreciated.
Infrastructure
West Chester Township’s success is partially due to the ongoing commitment to infrastructure, investing in safe road and storm water systems and innovating to provide the best “bang for the buck” when it comes to innovative projects like the Union Centre Boulevard Diverging Diamond Interchange that improve experience for the travelling public.

West Chester is home to more than 3,600 businesses. This diverse and energized collection of businesses contribute to the Township’s overall financial sustainability through payment of property taxes, payment to Tax Increment Financing districts, job creation and more.
