Keehner Park

Keehner Park is a 123-acre property nestled along the east fork of the Mill Creek, offering active and passive recreational opportunities including:

  • UPDATE! Creekside, wooded trails - Download/View Trail Map >
  • Two playgrounds
  • NEW! Pickleball courts 
  • Tennis courts
  • Basketball courts
  • Picnic shelters available for rent for $30 a day.
  • The Cabin in the Clearing: a 1800s log cabin open for special events
  • Amphitheatre: Home to the West Chester Concert Series on select summer Saturdays, plus Labor Day.
  • West Chester Township permit (complete with shelter online reservations) is required for use of fire circles.

Thursday

West Chester, Ohio welcomes The Remains for opening night of our free Thursday night summer concert series, The Takeover presented by First Financial Bank. The Takeover is 6 to 9 p.m. on The Square @ Union Centre, 9285 Centre Pointe Drive.

Friday

Enjoy food, beverage and entertainment all day at the Union Centre Food Truck Rally! The Food Truck Rally is 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on The Square. Blessid Union of Souls plays a free concert and a nighttime drone light show closes out the evening. 

Saturday

The Olde West Chester Founders Festival goes from 2 to 6 p.m. in the historic business district along Cincinnati-Dayton Road. This event includes a Chili Cookoff at West Chester Fire Headquarters and the grand opening of the West Chester History Center. 

Then, the West Chester Symphony Orchestra opens the Keehner Park Concert Series with free, live music from 7 to 9 p.m. in the park at 7211 Barret Road.

Sunday

The National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting, 8070 Tylersville Road, hosts special "VOA Days" activities from noon to 4 p.m.
