The Square @ Union Centre

The Square @ Union Centre is a high-energy gathering space located in the heart of West Chester's downtown. The Square features the First Financial Bank clock tower and is a great place to meet friends, have lunch or read a book.

The Square is also a great place for parties. A variety of events and gatherings take place on The Square each year including:

Your Summer. Your Park. Your Party. 

The weekend starts on Thursday in West Chester, Ohio! Party local at The Takeover. 

The Takeover is an admission-free, outdoor summer concert series hosted on The Square @ Union Centre, 9285 Centre Pointe Dr. 

Free concerts are 6 to 9 p.m. at the clock tower.

Each night offers free, live music; dinner & dessert options from some of the area’s tastiest food trucks; and cold beverages from Grainworks Brewing Company, as well as from West Chester Township distributor Ohio Eagle Distributing. 

Beverage sales benefit non-profit organizations in the community. Coolers and bags are subject to search. Outside alcohol is not permitted in the park and is a violation of the State of Ohio Liquor Permit. We appreciate your understanding.

CANCELED - The Takeover on The Square

UPDATE (posted 2:10 p.m., 7/6/2017) - Tonight's concert has been canceled due to inclement weather. Next week, The Sly Band plays The Takeover on July 13. 

Cover band The Menus brings fun stage antics and a high-energy performance to The Takeover. 

Weekends start early in West Chester! Enjoy great food, cold beer and free, live music as the region’s hottest bands and trendiest vendors take over The Square together with YOU.  The Takeover (#TakeoverWC) presented by First Financial Bank is free and goes every Thursday, June 1 through Aug. 31.

FigLeaf Brewing serves up craft beer and tonight's food trucks are: U-Lucky Dawg, Carvaso's and Funnel Vision. (NOTE: Food and beverage vendors subject to change.)

All 14 concert dates have their own theme with corresponding promotional activities provided by partnering local businesses and community organizations.

Join us July 6 for the Fitness Takeover as we welcome exercise groups from Mojo Running and BiKEFIX, and instructors from LA Fitness. KIND Snacks will give away goodies.
