Keehner Park

Keehner Park is a 123-acre property nestled along the east fork of the Mill Creek, offering active and passive recreational opportunities including:

  • Two playgrounds
  • NEW! Pickleball courts 
  • Tennis courts
  • Basketball courts
  • Picnic shelters available for rent for $30 a day.
  • The Cabin in the Clearing: a 1800s log cabin open for special events
  • Amphitheatre: Home to the West Chester Concert Series on select summer Saturdays, plus Labor Day.
  • West Chester Township permit (complete with shelter online reservations) is required for use of fire circles.

Nature Basket

Nature Basket programs are suited for preschool children, ages 3-5, and their adult companions. All programs include a story, a talk about seasonal nature and a take home craft. Adult help with the craft is required.

Registration is required for all programs and space is limited. Call 513-759-7312 or email, and give names of children attending and adult name & contact number or email. There is no charge associated with township programming.

Craft Kits

RSVP to take home a craft kit. Families unable to attend may pick up craft kits inside the lobby of the West Chester Township Administration building, 9113 Cincinnati Dayton Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. beginning the day after each program.
