West Chester Township Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public.
As part of the Regular meeting, the Board of Trustees will hold Executive Session at 5:00 pm. Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22, often referred to as the Open Meeting Act, provides for specific exceptions to the Open Meeting Act thereby allowing Township Trustees to meet in private session. The exceptions to the Open Meeting Act allow a public body to hold an executive (non-public) meeting at a regular or special meeting when the recognized protocol is followed and the topic to be discussed falls under one or more of specified discrete categories." The public portion of the meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Township Hall. The schedule is altered in November and December to accommodate the holidays.
A draft agenda for the following Tuesday's meeting is posted Friday afternoon and a final agenda is posted on Monday. Videos of the meetings are made available no later than Thursday following the meeting.
Meeting minutes are posted only after approval by the Board of Trustees at a subsequent meeting.
