Keehner Park

Keehner Park is a 123-acre property nestled along the east fork of the Mill Creek, offering active and passive recreational opportunities including:

  • West Chester Township permit (complete with shelter online reservations) is required for use of fire circles.

Nature Basket - Virtual

Join from the comfort of your own home as Nature Basket goes virtual Wednesday, May 5!

Kids, parents and adult caregivers are invited to tune in at 10:30 a.m. for a special video presentation. Check back here Wednesday morning to find links to watch the video. The video will be made available on demand via FacebookVimeo and YouTube to watch from anywhere with an Internet connection. 

This month's topic is nests and the book is titled “This Is The Nest That Robin Built" by Denise Fleming. Look for it at MidPointe Library or wherever you get your books.

Craft kits will be available for pick up during the week inside the lobby of the West Chester Township Administration building, 9113 Cincinnati Dayton Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until the end of the day Friday, May 7.

Nature Basket programs are suited for preschool children, ages 3-5, and their adult companions. All programs include a story, a talk about seasonal nature and a craft. Adult help with the craft is required.

Registration is required for in-person programs only. Call 513-759-7312 or email cstaarmann@westchesteroh.org, and give the number of children attending. There is no charge associated with township programming.

NOTE: Rain does not cancel in-person programs.
