The Square @ Union Centre

The Square @ Union Centre is a high-energy gathering space located in the heart of West Chester's downtown. The Square features the First Financial Bank clock tower and is a great place to meet friends, have lunch or read a book.

The Square is also a great place for parties. A variety of events and gatherings take place on The Square each year including:

The weekend starts on Thursday in West Chester, Ohio! Party local at The Takeover. 

The Takeover is an admission-free, outdoor summer concert series hosted on The Square @ Union Centre, 9285 Centre Pointe Dr. 

Free concerts are 6 to 9 p.m. at the clock tower.

Each night offers free, live music; dinner & dessert options from some of the area’s tastiest food trucks; and cold beverages from Grainworks Brewing Company, as well as from West Chester Township distributor Ohio Eagle Distributing. 

Beverage sales benefit non-profit organizations in the community. Coolers and bags are subject to search. Outside alcohol is not permitted in the park and is a violation of the State of Ohio Liquor Permit. We appreciate your understanding.

The Takeover - CANCELED

Live music in the park!

UPDATE: West Chester has made the difficult decision to cancel its July concerts on The Square @ Union Centre (Thursdays) and at Keehner Park (Saturdays). After working with state and local health departments, it is clear that Township facilities and staff are not equipped to meet the health and safety obligations required to accommodate crowds at large-scale outdoor events in this time when the threat of the spread of COVID-19, an infectious respiratory disease, remains heightened. For the wellbeing of everyone involved, concerts will be postponed again to tentatively begin in August with some make-up dates to be added in September. West Chester will continue to work with all parties to find solutions that balance our sense of community with our responsibility to minimize risk. Please check back online at www.WestChesterOH.org and follow West Chester Township on social media for further updates. 

Party local at The Takeover presented by First Financial Bank! Weekends start early with live music from 6 to 9 p.m. every Thursday at this admission-free, outdoor summer concert series. 

Friends and family meet up at The Takeover in West Chester for a relaxing break from the busy work week. Order dinner and dessert from delicious food trucks, sip local craft brews or throw back a light beer, and enjoy the free show! Sales of draft beverages benefit Butler County non-profit organizations thanks to West Chester partners DogBerry Brewing, Grainworks Brewing Company and Ohio Eagle Distributing. 

The Takeover meets every Thursday from June through August on The Square @ Union Centre, 9285 Centre Pointe Dr.
