Armchair Program

On the Road in Oregon

Chase away the winter blues and dream of faraway places as local travelers share pictures and stories from their favorite adventures. Guests are invited to virtually travel the world from the comfort of Township Hall. Six evening presentations will feature a different vacation spot on select Friday evenings over January, February and March.

Rick Takanen starts our tour of Oregon with a cruise on the Columbia River followed by a drive down the beautiful, rugged coastline ending at the coastal redwoods of northern California. From there, we travel through the interior visiting Crater Lake, the Oregon caves, Lava Lands, Mt Hood and Multnomah Falls. Our trip concludes with a visit to the gardens and mansions of Portland.
