Men and Women's 10-Hour SAFE Self-Defense Class (Day 1)
A program offered by the West Chester Police Department expands on the 2 hour SMART Self-Defense class. This class is being offered to men and women 16 years and older.
Self-defense Awareness Fundamental Education, was created as a result of requests by members of the community that had taken the SMART Class and wanted more in depth training. The sessions include guided discussion on topics people could encounter in their everyday lives, with the majority of time spent in rigorous self-defense training. There is a focus on assaults, personal protection and self-awareness.
The 10-hour program is free and will be offered June 25 - June 29, 2018 6 - 8 p.m. Participants must be able to attend all five days for which they register. The class will be offered at Lakota West High School in the wrestling room.
Spots are limited.
This is a very physical course so please wear athletic attire. If you sign-up and are not able to attend, please be courteous and remove your name or call 513-759-7260 to have your name removed. This opens your slot to allow others who would like to attend the class to register.
