The Square @ Union Centre

The Square @ Union Centre is a high-energy gathering space located in the heart of West Chester's downtown. The Square features the First Financial Bank clock tower and is a great place to meet friends, have lunch or read a book.

The Square is also a great place for parties. A variety of events and gatherings take place on The Square each year including:

Your Summer. Your Park. Your Party. 

The weekend starts on Thursday in West Chester, Ohio! Party local at The Takeover. 

The Takeover is an admission-free, outdoor summer concert series hosted on The Square @ Union Centre, 9285 Centre Pointe Dr. 

Free concerts are 6 to 9 p.m. at the clock tower.

Each night offers free, live music; dinner & dessert options from some of the area’s tastiest food trucks; and cold beverages from Grainworks Brewing Company, as well as from West Chester Township distributor Ohio Eagle Distributing. 

Beverage sales benefit non-profit organizations in the community. Coolers and bags are subject to search. Outside alcohol is not permitted in the park and is a violation of the State of Ohio Liquor Permit. We appreciate your understanding.

The Takeover on The Square

Local hit artist Billy Brown and the Billy Brown Band bring their unique flavor of rock and country to The Takeover.

Weekends start early in West Chester! Enjoy great food, cold beer and free, live music as the region’s hottest bands and trendiest vendors take over The Square together with YOU.  The Takeover (#TakeoverWC) presented by First Financial Bank is free and goes every Thursday, June 1 through Aug. 31. 

Food & Beverage

FigLeaf Brewing serves up craft beer and tonight's food trucks are: Bones Brothers Wings, Carvaso's and Funnel Vision. (NOTE: Food and beverage vendors subject to change.)

Join us July 20 for Ohio Wine Night! The Hanover Winery and Olde School House Vineyard & Winery will be on site selling wine. There are three Ohio Wine Nights at The Takeover:  June 22, July 20 and Aug. 24.

Theme

This week we are celebrating art in our community! The Arts Council of West Chester & Liberty will have fun crafts for adults and kids. Made To Love, a non-profit based in Hamilton, sells Haitian jewelry, art and wares. Hartong Digital Media shares tips for taking great photos on your smartphone. And all concert-goers are invited to have their caricature drawn for free!

All 14 concert dates have their own theme with corresponding promotional activities provided by partnering local businesses and community organizations.
