The West Chester Police Department monitors crime data regularly in order to deploy resources effectively, responsibly heighten awareness and continuously improve service to the residents and businesses of the community.

Statistics are made available through Data Informed Government (DIG), an online transparency portal powered by OpenGov. The DIG platform tracks crimes like theft, possession of drugs, assault, domestic violence and more.

Data on the DIG platform is available looking back the previous five years. The data is updated online by the 20th day of each month.

(NOTE: West Chester Township transitioned to new public safety software in November 2021. See Calls for Service (Dispatch Center) for calls prior to November 2021.

After navigating to the platform, use the right-hand menu to sort between crime types and presentation views. The left-hand menu allows users to toggle between different Township categories including financial data, public safety statistics, employee demographics, facilities and more.
