A traditional community parade presented by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7696 to honor those who have served and continue to serve in our military. The parade on Cincinnati Dayton Road concludes with a ceremony at West Chester Cemetery on West Chester Road.
The Memorial Day Parade promotes a family-friendly atmosphere and is intended to pay tribute to those who serve our country. All participants must agree to follow the guidelines and rules set forth by VFW Post 7696.
New this year, VFW Post 7696 invites children ages 12 and under to ride in the parade! Decorate a bicycle, wagon, stroller or scooter and join in showing community spirit and patriotism on this special day. Sorry, but no skateboards, tricycles, roller blades, skates or motorized vehicles are permitted. "Kids on Wheels" participants must agree to follow the guidelines and rules set forth by VFW Post 7696.
