West Chester Concert Series is Saturdays thru Labor Day
Blue Stone Ivory, a horn-driven classic rock band, will kick off the 16th season of the West Chester Concert Series with a bang Saturday, June 3 at Keehner Park, 7211 Barret Rd.
Bring a blanket, chairs and a picnic to enjoy great live music on the lawn of the park!
Concerts are 7 to 9 p.m. almost every weekend through Labor Day with the last concert on Monday, Sept. 4. There is no admission and all guests are invited to bring food and drink for the evening, but alcohol is not permitted.
This season’s lineup includes new bands Mad River Railroad (June 10), Reload (July 29) and Big Trouble Blues Band (Aug. 12), in addition to familiar favorites such as the Miami University Steel Drum Band (July 15) and the West Chester Symphony. Celebrate Independence Day at the symphony’s annual concert and ice cream social Saturday, July 1.
The West Chester Concert Series is one of two great free music series available to the community. In addition to the Saturday concerts, The Takeover presented by First Financial Bank happens on The Square every Thursday evening through August 31.
