West Chester companies creating hundreds of new jobs
Two growing companies with locations in West Chester recently announced plans to expand and add hundreds of new jobs this year.
Aero Fulfillment Services, a supply chain, fulfillment and logistics services company, received the approval of tax credits by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority, with plans to create 65 new full-time jobs and retain 199 jobs. Capital investment totals $2.75 million, according to West Chester economic development partner REDI Cincinnati.
“Greater Cincinnati continues to benefit from a diverse economy,” said Kimm Coyner, vice president, business development and projects for REDI Cincinnati, the region’s leading economic development initiative.
Aero Fulfillment Services helps Fortune 1000 companies such as P&G and Luxottica make their fulfillment more effective, more efficient and easier to manage through established e-commerce strategies. The company is located at 6023 Union Centre Blvd.
Approximately 150 additional jobs will be created in West Chester by TSS Technologies, a contract manufacturing and machining services firm with an assembly facility at 8800 Global Way. Jobs will be split between the company’s 210,000 square feet West Chester location and its machining facility in Woodlawn.
TSS Technologies currently has approximately 225 employees across its two Cincinnati locations. The family owned and operated business has provided custom automation solutions for more than 65 years.
“As companies are looking to expand, workforce availability and training opportunities become key factors in identifying sites for development. West Chester’s access to a talented workforce and training facilities help to inspire economic investment,” said West Chester Community Development Director Aaron Wiegand. “West Chester applauds the success of TSS Technologies and Aero Fulfillment Services and looks forward to being a part of their future growth.”
