Search for next Township Administrator advances
The process to hire West Chester Township’s next administrator will be advanced in the coming weeks as The Novak Consulting Group meets with the West Chester Board of Trustees to determine finalists for the position and conduct interviews.
The Board of Trustees hired The Novak Consulting Group in July to conduct an executive search for a replacement to Judi Boyko. Ms. Boyko resigned Aug. 1 to accept a position with Hamilton County.
Larry Fronk was hired by the Board of Trustees to serve as interim administrator, but will not seek appointment to the permanent position.
The Board of Trustees will conduct several special meetings in the coming weeks to review the findings of The Novak Consulting Group, select finalists and interview potential candidates in executive session. The first special meeting is scheduled for noon, Oct. 25th.
The Board will convene the meeting on Oct. 25th and then go into executive session. The Ohio Revised Code allows governmental bodies to enter executive session to discuss matters related to personnel, property & pending litigation.
Subsequent meetings scheduled to consider this appointment will be announced as required by law.
Interviews of finalists and the final selection of a new administrator for Ohio’s largest township will not take place until after the Nov. 7 election.
“Current trustees want to ensure that those who will compose the Board of Trustees after the Nov. 7th election have a say in this critical decision,” said Interim Administrator Larry Fronk.
