West Chester home to Cincinnati’s hottest housing market
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that West Chester Township is home to the fastest-selling housing market in Greater Cincinnati.
West Chester homes for sale in 2017 are on the market an average of less than a month and sell for an average of $227,000, according to the Enquirer’s top five list of fastest-selling home markets. Homes in the Township sold in an average of 28 days this year, down from 43 days in 2016.
The 34 percent drop was the largest year-to-year percentage decrease among all communities listed. Two of the five fastest-selling home markets on the list are in Butler County.
There are an estimated 24,039 households in West Chester with an estimated average household income of $107,970 according to Census data. West Chester is home to a growing population of more than 63,000 residents and more than 3,600 businesses.
West Chester Township has been named to Money Magazine’s list of Best Places to Live in America four consecutive times and five years overall.
