Two firefighter/paramedics added to West Chester force
West Chester Board of Trustees last night approved the appointment of two career firefighter/paramedics to fill vacant positions in the West Chester Fire Department.
Stephen Bosko (pictured, left) and Alex Harper (pictured, right) complete the complement of 42 full-time firefighter/paramedics in the West Chester Fire Department providing fire protection and emergency medical services to the community from five fire stations operating seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Stephen Bosko is a certified Firefighter II/Paramedic who has served part time with the West Chester Fire Department since December 2014. He has also worked part time for the Liberty Township Fire Department since May 2016.
Alex Harper is a Firefighter II/Paramedic and Fire & Life Safety Inspector with an associate’s degree in Applied Science, Fire Science Technology. He has been a part of West Chester’s part-time firefighting complement since February 2014.
