Fire Department - Inspections & Fire Code

The West Chester Fire Department works closely with businesses and residents to ensure that fire codes are met. Inspections of commercial properties are completed regularly and the Fire Department is also happy to schedule residential inspections to provide tips and guidelines for improving safety at home.

The West Chester Township Trustees have adopted the 2000 International Fire Code as the West Chester Fire Prevention Code. This code is used as a guideline for enforcment.
