Beckett Park is a 150-acre property located in the heart of West Chester's Downtown,. The park is situated on the east and west sides of Beckett Road at the foot of Beckett Ridge. Its geography offers a beautiful natural setting.
on Cox Road. Because there was already opportunity for park property on the Township's east side, Beckett Park was acquired to provide recreational facilities on the Township's west side.
Beckett Park features a world-class baseball facility, a restored timber-frame barn (available for rent), and much more.
A Boundless Playground with opportunites for active play for children of all abilities is available on the parks east side and a nearby picnic shelter provides families with a spot for a picnic or a quick break during play.
The west side of Beckett Park offers natural walking trails, a natural playground and two ponds. The ponds are not stocked by man, but catch and release fishing is permitted.
A water feature in the park is allowed to naturally freeze in the winter months making ice skating available.
The picnic shelter on the west side of the park, near the lakes and walking trails, isavailable for rent. The shelter near the Boundless Playground 
cannot be reserved, but is open for all to enjoy.

The West Chester Baseball Complex has four tournament-quality baseball fields, a concession stand, dugouts, press box, and restroom facilities. It is located near great hotels and restaurants catering to traveling tournaments.
Beckett Park hosts several major youth baseball tournaments during the year, bringing some of the country's best young players to West Chester Township.

The Muhlhauser Barn is a restored timber-frame barn from the 1880s. The barn, which offers a rustic setting for any event is available for rent. The Barn is available for rent April 1 through November 15 and can accommodate up to 200 guests for a wedding reception, family reunion, or meeting.
